Elizabeth and I sat two rows up in the Joyce Arena tonight and watched the Notre Dame Fighting Irish beat the University of Southern Florida. Thanks to my genorous Uncle, Elizabeth and I have been to a ND football and now b-ball game. I get myself in a bit of a quandry about being as protestant as they come, but rooting for a catholic school. I also met and got the signiture of Charlie Wies, head coach of the football team. Anyway, not a huge deal but it was a fun night of entertainment. I have much on my mind and in my heart that I want to muse upon soon. Listened to a message by John Piper today on the life of David Brainard. Powerful, direct message on pursuing on the heavenly journey even through hardship and trial. Thank God for men like Piper that are holding fast the Word of Truth. May God bless him and multiply his kind.
