elementary?
By Kyle | March 14, 2006
This may seem very elementary, but I am amazed that the same God that spoke to Moses and gave him the commandments and spoke from the burning bush and all that, is the same God that speaks to me today. Near the end of the book of Exodus Moses says to the Lord “You told me to bring all these people out here to the desert and here we are, now where are we going?” The Lord didn’t spell everything out for Moses right then and there, but all He said was “My presence will be with you and I will give you rest”. I really thought that was awesome.
My wife and I are at a point in our life where we are asking the Lord “where do you want us to go?” It hit me yesterday that the same God that spoke those words to Moses on that mountain over in the middle east is telling me the same thing at my dining room table in Michigan.

Kyle,
May we never be weened of the Great I Am! He is all that we will ever need! No matter how high the waves, how dark the clouds that gather, how fierce the winds… If we listen we will hear His still, small voice saying, “I Am” - all that you will ever need, for there is no situation for which I in you am ever less than adequate. He is always overwhelmingly adeguate. If we will only live by faith. May we learn and daily say of Him as the disciples did when He got back into the boat - Your right, “You are the Son of God.” Thus, no matter what happens we can say like Paul in all circumstances - “Thanks!” Because He is all we could ever need. Let’s remain preoccuppied with all that He is - Everything! So, no matter what comes our way today, let’s hear - “I Am” and respond in trusting faith “You are”… Thanks Lord Jesus! Apart from you we can do nothing! I count it a blessing to know you brother! God redeemed your flesh for a purpose and He knows where He’s going and what He’s doing. Wonderful!
