    fuji REGIS

    By Kyle | August 27, 2007

My brother Chuk bought me a Schwinn Varsity. I have been riding it’s vintageness daily. I couldn’t help but keep my eyes pealed for a good deal on a road bike. The other day Lord led me to this Fuji Regis. The lady was asking $50 for the bike and $10 for a trunk-mount bike rack. I asked if she would take $30 for both. She said yes. I was happy. Thanks to Mike Cira, an avid road cyclist and environmental guru from church, the Fuji is fully road worthy. It will make the trip north with us on vacation next week. I plan on introducing him to Lake Superior.

Nice bike, Kyle and a bargain. I can’t believe you got that bike for less than 30.00. I’m proud of you. Enjoy the Northwoods and Superior. Don’t you love the Mitten State?

P.S. Thanks for not wearing those scary bike shorts people wear.

I bought the same bike at a garage sale 10 years ago for $50.
It will be making a ride across Michigan in one day (Whitehall to Bay City) in April.
