humility, faith, legacy
By Kyle | February 24, 2006
i am reading the book of a man who was a humble man. he wrote a book that i am sure will never make it’s way to graduate level required reading, but should. he was a man that lived close to “our sweet Lord” as he will most often refer to Jesus. he was a man that started a ministry on pure faith in God, not in a bank.
he is now with our sweet Lord in heaven, but his legacy and ministry lives on here on earth. i say legacy because he passed on his vision of ministry to a new generation and they too live close to our sweet Lord.
i will always love this place especially on the dock of the east side waterfront, because i met my beautiful wife the summer of ‘02 at Camp Barakel.
“Lord, may i live and die close to you. may i live in humble faith to you and leave a legacy for the next generation to see and follow.”
thanks Uncle Jonnie
