Random Thoughts…

I am on staff at Grace Church as one of the youth interns. We are having our annual planning day today. As I was writing out what God has been doing in my personal life over the past year it made me thankful to God. He has been there for me and Elizabeth in every transition, hardship or happiness. This has definitely been a year of mountain tops and crevasses. As I thought about it this year has included unemployment, homelessness (kind of), miscarriage, summer camp, debt, three jobs, youth ministry, pregnancy, and more. I write this not for pity, but only to say that God has shown Himself to be the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God and Everlasting Father to us this year.

THat’s so true! I feel the same way. I have pillowed my head the past few nights with an overwhelming sense of God’s goodness and being so thankful!!

Just wanted to let you know that I have enjoyed getting to see you handle so many different situations in the short time I have known you and to be able to see how God is reflected in your life. I really am not trying to sound corny or anything. Things like that don’t go unnoticed and sometimes it is nice to hear that people do see the way that God is glorified in your life so you can receive some encouragement through it all.
